The world is uncertain but one thing that’s not: moments and phases and bits of childhood fly by and you can’t go back, no matter how much you may want to do so. What we can do is (safely) freeze time with images.
Spring photo sessions are some of my favorites — we can find bright green trees and blooming flowers of all different colors; we can be near water; we’re enjoying warmer temperatures and comfortable breezes.
In my outdoor spring photo sessions, we find a great location in the Lake Linganore area of New Market, Maryland together that is fun for all members of your family to explore. We will schedule our sessions for morning or late afternoon/early evening at a time that works best for kiddos’ schedules, meals, energy levels.
And once we all get there — it’s easy-peasy. Most of my clients leave their first session with me saying, “Wow, that was SO much easier than I thought it would be.” It’s the best compliment. We walk and talk, explore paths, look for “treasures” and capture a great mix of candid and posed photos, individual shots and group ones.
And this year, I’m emphasizing how safe I’m trying to keep things for you and your entire family (and for me):
No sessions will be held if client or someone in client’s family is feeling ill
No sessions will be held if Wendy or someone in Wendy’s family is feeling ill
No indoor/in-home photo sessions this Spring
No hugging, high-fives or other contact will happen during sessions
We’re also going to book a back-up date immediately at booking. I can’t wait to photograph your family this season!
