It’s been a long time since I last wrote here. OOPS!

Where have I been?

Not because photography in Frederick and Lake Linganore and the Outer Banks stopped mattering to me—but because life became fuller. Louder. More layered. My own family’s calendar filled up, priorities shifted, and the way I wanted to show up in my work evolved quietly in the background.

Are you back?

And yet, through all of it, photography never stopped feeling like home.

I still notice light the same way. I definitely care deeply about people feeling comfortable and seen. I truly still believe the smallest, most ordinary moments are often the ones we’re most grateful to have remembered.

Furthermore, this space doesn’t come back with pressure attached. There’s no promise of perfect consistency or polished timelines. Just a return to sharing—when it feels right—about the work, the seasons, and the heart behind what I do.

If you’re here, thank you. I’m really glad you are.
This feels like a good place to begin again.

What’s next?

Basically, in the coming days and weeks, I’ll be bringing the blog back to life and getting out information regarding what this year looks like as far as my photography business. Above all, I can’t wait to share what I’ve been dreaming up these last few months. Thanks for being along for the ride and trusting me with your memories and stories. I am so, so honored. I truly believe 2026 will be the best year yet for me and my clients!
