Excited. Endearing. Enthusiastic. Enamored. 
So many beautiful emotions surrounded Courtney and Matt, young lovebirds with wise spirits and an old love. Their October wedding at Deerfield Country Club outside of Rochester, New York, was filled with all of these things, plus exquisite details that were bold, beautiful, colorful and so, so lovely. 

Deerfield has such elegant bridal suites — ornate glass windows, fancy refreshments, chalkboard signs that read the new name of each bride-to-be. Courtney’s friends, future relatives and close family gathered together with music, makeup, chatting and getting ready. 

Just before the ceremony, Courtney and her dad shared a special moment together. He came walking toward her in the long hallway, moments before giving her away, tears streaming down and a huge, proud grin on his face. 

A similar smile could be found upon Matt’s face as he watched Courtney walk towards him up the aisle. 

They were married under a beautiful arch with sunshine all around. There were so many people there to support them. After their incredibly romantic vows and personal promises, we stole the two of them away for photos with their families, bridal party and then just the two of them.  They are wonderfully natural and comfortable with one another and I loved just talking, walking, enjoying time with them in their first few minutes as husband and wife. 

Their reception included so many special moments: a touching toast by Courtney’s father; a moment of dance between Courtney and her stepfather; emotional memories shared by the best man; singing and dancing by the bridal party as part of their speeches; twirling underneath twinkly outside lights and so many awesome dance moves. 

The day flew by but I doubt anyone that was there will forget anytime soon.
