Red-and-white roses, dazzling and detailed dresses, handwritten love notes and color all around — Cara and Charlie’s wedding day in early September was beautiful and elegant.

They each began their day surrounded by their closest friends and loved ones, both remarkably relaxed and just enjoying fun moments on opposite sides of Niagara Crossing Hotel in Lewiston, New York, just moments away from Niagara Falls.

With a balcony overlooking the Niagara River, Cara and her girls had their hair and makeup done, got into their dresses and shared some bubbly together.

Cara also had a First Look with her beloved Dad. Cara and Charlie read notes from one another and opened gifts that were thoughtful and beautiful!

The expected rain held off just long enough so that we could enjoy the ceremony out on the hotel’s balcony overlooking the river while friends played soothing music. We photographed the joyful newlyweds near the water and captured some of my favorite portraits of the year. 

The day ended with games on the terrace, dancing all night long and a sparkler send-off for Mr. and Mrs. Partridge.
