Senior sessions hold a special place in my work.
There’s something incredibly meaningful about photographing people right on the edge of everything—no longer kids, not quite fully grown, but deeply themselves in ways that are often just beginning to emerge. Senior sessions are all about this moment, this season.

Senior photography allows for freedom and individuality in a way few other sessions do. These sessions are entirely about the senior—their personality, their interests, their energy. We typically spend about an hour together in a senior session, plan for two to three outfits, and choose a location that complements who they are, not a generic backdrop.
There’s no rush and no pressure to perform. Instead, there’s space to talk, move, laugh, and settle in. I work closely with families ahead of time to plan outfits, locations, and the best time of day for light. Because of that, when the session arrives, it feels relaxed and supportive.
What I love most is watching confidence grow as the session unfolds. More importantly, seniors often arrive a little unsure—and leave feeling seen. My goal is never to turn them into someone they’re not, but to reflect back who they already are in this season of life.
This in-between stage is fleeting, and it deserves to be remembered honestly. Senior sessions continue to light me up, and I’m always grateful to be invited into this moment.

You can book a senior session at any time of year. There’s pros and cons to each season and to each part of their senior year. Actually, some even do photos while the student is still a junior! You can reach out to me and get your senior session on the books HERE. And you can follow me and see more of my work on Instagram.
I can’t wait to work together and capture the person your senior is right now.
