Kellie and Dan are repeat clients of mine who have trusted me twice now with family photo sessions of them with their daughter Leila. Leila is so incredibly fun, curious and of course, adorable. I have so loved finding the perfect leaf with her in past sessions and giving and getting the best high-fives.
For my third session with this family, we were documenting them as they await the arrival of Little Sister in a maternity session here in Frederick County. But, this session was different. (Aside from the baby bump and a taller and more-talkative Leila!). We were at the very tail end of quarantine and this was my *first* session back after months of not being able to take care of my clients.
We opted to meet at a farm owned by a family friend that was just a few minutes away from my Lake Linganore neighborhood and it was beautiful. Wide open spaces, colorful fields, even horses!
I wore a mask the entire time and kept myself at least six feet away at all times. It was hard not to be high-fiving and enjoying leaf-collecting adventures with little Leila but I am really pleased with the images we captured on this day.
Kellie is beautiful, as always, and she and Dan have such an easy, comforting relationship. I love watching them as parents. I am so excited for them to be a family of four.
Enjoy these peeks into our end-of-quarantine maternity outdoor photo session here in Frederick County!
