The Ortiz family were new clients of mine this past year! We decided on riverfront family portraits in Alexandria and found the cutest little place to have their portraits taken. I’m so glad I was able to meet this beautiful family last year!

It was a perfect combination of great location + incredible personalities. Not to mention beautiful weather + awesome outfits and color and a heck of a lot of laughter and fun. I walked away (and drove home) with a HUGE smile on my face after their session.

Despite being only an hour away from me, this was my first session in Alexandria and I just loved it. I found a handful of spots on the way into the park that I would love to return to in the future, too! Anyone want to join me?! Parks like this are always so versatile!

We kept things extremely comfortable and casual during their session, just walking and exploring and enjoying a golden sunset glow and peaceful breezes from the water. I love when sessions feel so easy. All I want is for my clients to feel comfortable and happy during their session. Keeping things relaxed is the best way to capture your family as natural as possible!
