Believe it or not, Jen’s entire fall family photo session was inspired by a fence. She and I were sharing ideas back and forth while planning their third session with me. Can we take a moment to acknowledge how incredibly lucky I am to have repeat clients who give me the honor of capturing their families over and over?! It’s honestly the best compliment. In the middle of planning, we started talking about a dreamy location in the fall foliage near a rustic wooden fence. And it all fell into place from there!
Jen’s oldest son declared me to be his best friend and asked me out to a playdate the following day! It was seriously sooooo cute! I loved capturing his smiles and excitement as he adventured in the leaves and among the rocks.
It was also fun to see Little Brother up and walking (running!) around and taking in the scenery all around him.
It’s always about the kiddos and letting them take charge to keep them comfortable and happy. But it’s also important to me to let Momma have a moment, too. How often do we, as moms, get dressed up and made up (especially this year!)? Jen is gorgeous inside and out! Truly, I loved having a couple of moments to just photograph her on this beautiful fall day, too.
Enjoy these peeks into their Frederick County family portraits! And remember, inspiration can come from anywhere and anything! I’m here to set inspiration into reality!
