This family of four had one of the most picture-perfect days for their fall family photo session in Frederick County. We met up along Lake Linganore and were blessed with a gorgeous day. It was peak fall foliage and their outfits complemented the colors so well.

Fall Family Photo Session in Frederick County

We chose a location along Lake Linganore’s one main beach area and wound up with a series of equally gorgeous backdrops — a concrete walkway shaded by trees over the water, beach moments, a wooded path and so much more. My favorite sessions are the ones that go by so quickly and are a series of interesting conversations as we walk from one spot to another. This was definitely one of those.

We captured posed group photos and a whole bunch of fun and funny candid moments, too. In spite of a really, really difficult year, these 45 minutes were filled with so much beautiful laughter. And I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for that. Over and over, my clients have lifted my spirits during our sessions despite this hard year.
