I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — repeat clients make my heart so happy. It means they trust me; it affirms that my work is what they need in their world and on their walls; it makes it feel like a friendship. I get to watch their kiddos grow up and change and it builds a really beautiful comfort level between us during photo sessions.
Little Miss A and Mr. K are two of the coolest kids I’ve ever hung out with as a photographer. They have so much great, positive, contagious energy and it’s one of the best families to just follow with a camera as they explore.
In the past, we’ve done beach photos and forested photos and for these summer pics out of quarantine, we agreed on using downtown Frederick as our backdrop and it was perfect! We played near cool fountain on a hot summer morning, looked for fish in the canal, crossed a gorgeous bridge over and over again and just had so much fun.
I love that you can actually hear the laughter in the final images and feel the summertime memories and joy in the smiles and splashes. Can we talk about those great sailboat-themed summertime outfits, too? LOVE them!
The family left for an off-the-grid vacation shortly after our session and when I delivered the photos, Mom drove into the nearest town so that she could sit in a parking lot and view and download her images. She was SO excited and I am so happy she loves the photos as much as I enjoyed our time together.
Enjoy this peek into our downtown Frederick photo session! I dare you not to smile!
