It has been such a joy having Lori and her family in my life in these past several months. It was so much fun even communicating by email in those first few weeks. I loved hearing how much Lori wanted to capture her family, especially her two amazing little kiddos, in images to really freeze time on this time in their lives.

Lori and I talked a lot about outfit options prior to her family photo session and I loved being able to support her in a decision that can definitely be stressful for people planning family photos. And, her final outfit choices were so great — they meshed together so well and looked great against the backdrops in our family photos location.

What I loved most about Lori was that she wasn’t afraid to let the kids just be themselves — running, jumping, twirling. I loved that Lori and her husband weren’t afraid to fall down and be jumped on and to just have moments of laughter and joy.
