I really think that somehow, Kelly’s two boys manage to get even cuter every time I photograph them. I first started photographing this family when they were a family of three. Since then, I’ve captured their younger son’s newborn photos and additional photos to celebrate birthdays and milestones. We’ve always gone to different locations and for this year’s fall family photos, we opted for a local pumpkin patch and Christmas tree farm in Frederick County.
It’s always nice to spice things up a little bit and the change of location did just that. We were able to capture these two handsome little fellas in a place that they love and visit often (they were actually holding the birthday party for one of them at that spot later in the same day as our session!). The boys were able to just be kids and we kept it simple and easy for them so that we could just photograph them having fun.
There were hay bales to climb on and a corn maze to explore and so many fun little nooks that showed their super-fun personalities.
Kelly and Lee seem to be two of the most devoted, loving, patient parents I’ve ever known. Capturing them with their kiddos is so special.
Kelly told me after she received her gallery of photos that this session was her favorite one yet because it most showed the boys’ personalities and really did seem to freeze time on this phase of life.
Enjoy these peeks!
