Little Leila has been in front of my camera twice now and her big blue eyes and fun personality are such a joy to capture.

Her parents have joked with me in the past that she can be a little serious at times, even when she’s having a great time. In our first session, we captured some adorable photos of the three of them and of Leila alone that I love, but this year I wanted to grab that gorgeous smile as often as I could.

And Leila showed up ready to say “cheese” and give me all the grins!

We collected leaves and walked along a forested path looking for animals in the nearby lake. Leila is so affectionate with her parents and has the sweetest, softest little voice. I loved hearing her talk as we explored together.

I can’t decide if I most love the many faces of Leila or her throwing leaves up in the air or her deciding to carry a ginormous stick down the path for a while the best — we just had so much fun and I loved the final images.
