Here is the neatest thing about my 2020 couple Chris and Elizabeth — we’re neighbors! (Or, for now, Chris is and Elizabeth visits our neighborhood a lot).
In fact, they found my name through our local neighborhood facebook page. And, for our initial consult meeting, they came to my house and had coffee in my dining room with me while we chatted logistics. (I might even be able to see Chris’s house from my backyard, haha!)
Another great thing about Chris and Elizabeth? They are both insanely kind, generous, compassionate, warm-hearted people. You *want* to be around them. They make you want to be better.
For their engagement photo session, Chris and Elizabeth wanted to incorporate Ellicott City as it’s a place where their love story really began and some of their most special dates occurred. I loved exploring this super-quaint, historic old town and capturing Chris and Elizabeth on just a “regular” day — strolling together through the streets, hugging and laughing and holding hands and sipping some warm coffee.
It was absolutely freezing the day of our photo session — most definitely the coldest day of photos I had in 2019; and yet, as cheesy as it sounds — their love warmed things up. Chris made sure Elizabeth was always comfortable and by the end of the session, they were both so natural and happy in front of the camera.
I was so sad when the session came to an end — because we had a total blast and it felt like hanging out with old friends.
These two are one of many, many couples who have had to postpone their wedding date due to the Coronavirus situation and although we have to wait a little bit longer for their wedding, it will be an amazing day and I’m so grateful that I get to capture more moments between the two of them.
See you in August!
