Everything about Becky and Mike is just ease and joy and lighthearted love. To see them take care of one another and love one another is such an honor. When it came time to capture the engagement chapter of their love story, they wanted to celebrate their roots and the places that are special to them in and around Frederick, Maryland.

We opted for two locations for their engagement photos — the first being downtown Frederick, Maryland and it’s blooms, bricks and and bursts of colors. We captured the two of them on a beautiful Fall day near the Carroll Creek Park area and on some of our favorite streets in Frederick.

I loved watching Becky twist her engagement ring on her left hand with a smile on her face while Mike looked at her with complete admiration. Seeing them explore corners of Frederick together was a total joy.

After we explored downtown Frederick together, we went to a nearby pumpkin patch farm — Jumbo’s in Middletown, Maryland. Jumbo’s has acres of fields to explore and Fall activities to enjoy and so we did just that — a haywagon ride into the pumpkin patch, a mini picnic near the corn maze and exploring the gift shop at Jumbo’s together.

Jumbo’s offered us colorful backdrops, hysterical moments of laughter and some beautiful moments that captured Becky and Mike completely comfortable and enjoying a Fall day — much like they would if there wasn’t a photographer following them around, I think!

Becky and Mike will be getting married in June 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in downtown Frederick and Maryland National Golf Club in Middletown.
