Melissa and Cullen remind me of an old Hollywood power couple. They are, obviously, beautiful and young with bright smiles. But their personalities are so joyful and pure. They make a room better just by walking into it. And their love for each other is HUGE. You can’t deny it. They take such good care of one another and look out for one another in the simplest, gentlest ways. 

Weeks after they had booked me as their wedding photographer in 2016, we discovered that Cullen’s college friend Zach was one of my 2016 grooms! I loved getting to enjoy Melissa and Cullen’s awesome dance moves at their friends’ wedding reception and have enjoyed meeting with them and keeping in touch with them these past several months. 

Their wedding day provided so many beautiful, memorable moments — getting ready with their best friends and soon-to-be siblings; reading love notes from one another the morning of the wedding; Melissa’s First Look with her dad; Melissa’s long veil following behind her as she walked the aisle of the church to an emotional and excited Cullen; sweet (and only semi-embarrassing) speeches, a fun photo booth and some awesome dance moves. 

I hope I see these two at future weddings, taking over the dance floor and brightening the room with their love. Until then, let’s enjoy some peeks into their day.
