Christine and Zach celebrated nearly a decade of knowing each other with a fairytale chapter in their love story. Their November wedding gave us warmer-than-usual temperatures, sunshine, happy tears and incredible dancing.
Before our first meeting, these two were high school sweethearts who made it through different high schools and colleges and away-from-home grad school time apart. Christine and Zach are self-proclaimed laidback and simple people but their day was filled with elegance, gorgeous details and moments that made anyone lucky enough to be present go “oooh” and “ahh” over and over until you think your heart is just going to burst with happiness.
The day began with the girls getting ready in a beautiful suite at the Hyatt Regency Rochester overlooking downtown. Christine’s amazing lace Maggie Sottero dress graced the huge window in front of all of Rochester’s skyline while the beautiful bride and a handful of the most important women in her life celebrated the day with champagne, music, hair and makeup by Tierney Messmer.
Their wedding ceremony took place at St. Thomas More Church and photos afterwards took place at the Genesee Brewery, the High Falls area of downtown and Cornhill Landing. We have amazing images filled with bits and pieces of the city Christine and Zach have come to love.
At their La Luna Restaurant reception, DJ Kalifornia Entertainment kept the dance floor packed all night long. Highlights included delicious ice cream from Abbott’s, a Ukraianiaan song performed by Christine’s family and back flips from both Christine’s dad and brother.
It was an amazing day and just one fabulous chapter in Christine and Zach’s love story. I can’t wait to watch the next few pages unfold.
Enjoy the images!
