In my quest to make things better for my clients in 2020, I’m making some tweaks to my photography process to guarantee more consistent final products, a greater ease in booking and managing inquiries and the absolutely BEST photos for you every time.
Another thing I’m going to be changing is only booking photo sessions at the two times of the day that offer the best and most flattering light for photos — early to mid morning (7am to 10am) and late afternoon/early evening (4pm to sunset).
In the past, I’ve taken a lot of liberties and have strayed away from these times to sometimes accommodate last-minute requests, sleeping schedules, etc. What I’ve realized, though, is that it is SO important to start my session with the best light available and that light is always going to be in the morning and early evening.
For just one day, I promise it will be worth it to tweak baby’s sleeping schedule or wake the family up just a little earlier if we get light that is flattering and so much easier to work with.
Midday sun is harsh (which is not flattering at all) and limits where we can stand and explore.
I want the absolute best for my clients and this is one very easy and very important way that I can guarantee incredible lighting time and time again.
I can’t wait to see you — in the morning or evening!
