There’s going to be a handful of important changes to Wendy Zook Photography in 2019 — things I’m doing to make my client experience even better from start to finish and things that will help me better balance my work, family, hobbies and big, new dreams.

Among those changes is my plan to limit the number of sessions I take during my busiest months especially.

I would LOVE to take every session that comes my way, but to do that would mean sacrificing my quick turnaround time (I pride myself on getting my photo galleries back to my families three days after their family photo session with me). I’d rather focus on editing and processing their photos to meet their needs and to do so in a way that doesn’t keep them waiting too long or keep them from ordering their Christmas cards with my photos.

By taking a limited number of photo sessions also means that I can guarantee that all of my family photo sessions will take place during the times of day with the best and most flattering light (yet another goal for 2020!).

Less family photo session commitments also allows me to continue education in technique and client experience (something I believe should never end) and work on things behind the scenes so that I can continue to chase other photography-related dreams.

Any decision I make with my business always comes with intent to only improve the family photo session process for each and every one of my clients so that even returning clients will have their expectations exceeded.
