My goal with family photo sessions (and pretty much all of my photo sessions) is to let every single individual’s personality shine through in the final photos just as much as it is capturing the family’s group story and love.

With Sarah’s family, we have a super in-love couple with three spunky, fun, unique kiddos who are patient and exciting to be around. We spent nearly an hour exploring a path alongside Lake Linganore on a Fall day, throwing leaves, running, exploring and telling funny stories. The photos of the kids throwing the leaves up in the air are some of my favorites from the Fall season.

This is my second time capturing photos for this family and it’s been so fun watching the kids grow taller and more mature. They’re amazing kids who kept me laughing. I love our final photos.
