Carissa has the most beautiful and loveliest little girls. They are sweet, kind, polite and absolutely adorable. I loved getting to explore our Lake Linganore photo site together on a Fall morning.

The entire family was ridiculously easy to work with — they were open to all of my ideas, super photogenic and really patient on a chilly day.

One of the most important things I heard from Carissa was how she doesn’t have enough photos of her in the moment with her children. I hear this a lot. It makes my heart so sad when there isn’t enough proof of the love of a mother for her kiddos. So, I made it a priority to give Carissa lots of options to choose from in her final gallery of edited photos.

I always ask my clients what is most important to them and it’s always important that I deliver that to them when possible.

This was one of my favorite Lake Linganore sessions this year (even though I’m not supposed to choose favorites, haha!) simply because it was such a delight start to finish and because we captured moments of Momma, Dad and the kiddos together in pure candid joy.
