Carrie and her family are so special — they are inspirational in their closeness and commitment to each other and their community. This fall, we met for a Downtown Frederick family session and it was seriously just SO much fun. These four make me laugh and it’s such a gift.

Downtown Frederick Fall Photo Session

Carrie’s husband Steve purchased a future photo session from me last winter and after multiple delays and a couple of close calls with Mother Nature, we were finally able to hold an Autumn photo session at a beautiful park in downtown Frederick. I was so excited when the day finally arrived. I know we had all been ready for this session for weeks!

Baker Park offers so much versatility and I had so much fun adventuring in different corners with Carrie, Steve and their two sweet girls. It’s the perfect combination of fall colors and hints of Downtown Frederick behind the leaves.

We played in leaves and under willow trees. The girls ran alongside streams. And they posed in front of towers and down long paths and in wide fields. We had so much fun!! Seriously, I’m not sure who laughed more — me or the kids!
