It’s safe to say that Diany and her family — husband Robbie and daughter Lili — are some of the most important people to us. We’ve started a nonprofit organization together — Friendship by LiliZach, a 501(c)3 in Frederick County that supports families with a diagnosis of Down syndrome. We’ve even vacationed together this past summer.

Diany and Robbie are expecting another baby girl in February and it has been such a joy to see them prepare for their second child. I love that this year’s family photos with them showcase a growing belly and growing family. Their love is so beautiful and I just can’t wait to see them welcome another child into their family.

For our session together this fall, we explored a new location for me in the Lake Linganore area. Our location was safe for little Lili to walk around and offered some beautiful backdrops — not only the lake and water but also a great little forested area for some festive pops of green in some of their photos.

We captured photos of the three of them, photos of Diany and Robbie together and a lot of fun candids of Lili by herself. Some of my favorite photos, however, are the ones we grabbed at the very end of Diany and her bump alone in a beautiful, glowing moment.

I can’t wait to see what 2020 brings to them and I hope my camera is able to capture many more special moments then and in years to come.
