About a week after my Photo Session in Lake Linganore with Meredith and her family, I passed her on a walking trail in her neighborhood while photographing another family.

This was my second time photographing Meredith, her husband and their two kiddos and it gets better every time. We picked a new location here in our Lake Linganore community in Frederick County. Honestly, the spot provided some amazing backdrops for the photos. We had water, tall grass, forested paths and more.

Like in all my outdoor family photo sessions, it was all about capturing the kids’ true personalities. This happens through a mix of candid and posed photos. They all captured individual style and characteristics of the whole family. I loved L & L! They are true enthusiastic explorers! And, I loved that we could get them running, finding bugs, and throwing rocks into the water. It was just fun outdoor adventuring during a Family Photo Session in Lake Linganore.

Repeat clients bring a whole new sense of comfort and familiarity which makes easing into photo sessions that much quicker and simpler — and fun! I’m excited to see a lot of familiar faces on my outdoor Fall family photo session calendar and I’m grateful for multiple chances to capture growing children and all this love.
