So many things stand out about Jennifer and Zachary’s big day at Casa Larga Vineyards in Rochester, New York, last month:

There was the way that Zach looked forward to seeing his bride, fighting tears, closing his eyes and taking deep breaths of anticipation in the hours and minutes before Jen walked down the aisle. 

Then there was the incredibly supportive loved ones that just surrounded the two of them and filled the venue with a love that was so great you felt you could touch it. 

There were the incredible dancers and fun party atmosphere in their reception that kept me laughing for hours. 

I loved Jen’s funny and goofy dad who kept everyone smiling during the getting ready time and her mom that hosted loved ones and filled her home and heart with a spectacular celebratory weekend. 

Watching the very, very tall Zach hop down on his knees to “dance” with his stepmother had everyone clapping around the dance floor. And seeing the way he and his father embraced each other to celebrate the special day was an incredible moment. 

Jen sent me the sweetest note when she received her wedding album the other day and as appreciative as I am of her kindness, I should really be thanking the two of them. For allowing me to be a witness to such a beautiful, strong, selfless love and for the joy that filled my world on their day and along this journey.
